Just A Bit About Me

WHO AM I?

 It all started when…

My husband foolishly bought me a camera for Christmas in 2011 - I haven’t looked back since ( although, I do suspect he regrets his decision)! I posted my photos onto social media (mostly of my beautiful dog, Sakari who is very sadly no longer with us) and got a lot of positive comments (plus a competition win), which then lead to me buying my first DSLR and learning how to go manual. I shot my first wedding in 2013 and have never looked back.

I’m Selina and I am a dog and equine photographer, based in Forres, Scotland. I am also a wife to a long-suffering husband, a mother to a beautiful little girl who believes that sleep is for the weak and also a mother to a very handsome Ridgeback chap called Otto and gorgeous shire horse mare called Harriet.

My days off are often filled with mayhem; from chasing after my daughter to try and get her dressed, to then attempting to bundle both her and the dog in the car for a lovely walk (which inevitably ends with me carrying my daughter, her bike and her shoes back to the car – I pick my walks wisely, no hills). I also incorporate trips to the yard to hang out with Harriet.

We are very fortunate to live in a stunning part of Scotland where we’re spoilt for choice with the local scenery. My camera comes with me for every walk because it’s simply beautiful here.

My photography sessions are very similar to my daily walks. I bring my camera and we head off on a relaxed walk, taking photos along the way..

No 2 sessions are the same, I always strive to make them just that little more personal to you.

I keep my packages at a competitive rate in the hope that I can create beautiful, but affordable artwork for your home.

All of my sessions are geared towards having lots of fun, I promise you will enjoy every moment and have a laugh! Life is too short to be stuffy and serious, so if you love nothing more than a good natter and joke, then we’re going to get on just fine!

Whether you’re local to me or on holiday in Moray and want to update your family, dog or horse photo albums, then give me a call.
